While backpacking Southeast Asia this year, many of you know that Cambodia touched a special place in my heart.
Most of the children in the community will go to school in the morning, attend Heartprint in the afternoon, and complete part-time studies in the evening - 6 days a week (that’s almost 12-hours of schooling in one day!) On top of that, some children also work part time jobs to help support their families.
Seeing how hard the young people in this small community work has pushed me to work harder and value the opportunities that come my way. One of those opportunities being to support these children in every way possible as they brighten their futures.
With a large portion of the population living in poverty, Heartprint has been working toward breaking negative generation cycles through holistic community support.
For my birthday this year, I will be heading back to Cambodia and would love your support in funding at least one child’s future for one year through Heartprint’s programs.
With the money raised, together we can provide resources toward; Career Guidance, English education support, Tutoring, Financial Literacy, STEM subjects, Nutrition Program, and so much more.
Any surplus funds will be used toward other areas of need within the community centre (including; community builds, social support, mental health support, Khmer staff, etc…)
Any contribution - big or small - is greatly appreciated and I’ll love you forever <3
xx
