Keep the Express Running!

June 13th, 2025:

Good MORNING everyone!  This just in:

A FREE 20-passenger mini-bus has been made available to us for a donation.  Can we use it?

YES WE CAN!!!!

Gary and the members of the 1st Medical Battalion (Bravo 2) use these things as light evacuation vehicles.  If you're injured and it doesn't require an ambulance, then this is what they use to get you back to the treatment centers (Think: broken limbs, sutures, and the like),.

What's more, this same sort of vehicle is what the medics use to evacuate villages during "green light" runs, as only THEY can go in (unarmed) to evacuate civilians before occupation.  When we saw Bakhmut, these vehicles are what got the locals out before it was overrun.

How used are these?  Gary reports that when their last passenger bus died, it was so "used up" they couldn't even cannibalize a single part off of it to use on another bus...

...and they've been without for over a year now.

What's the catch?

The bus is in the UK, and we are not.  We have a driver, we have the bus, and we have the need.  What we're looking for are the funds.  This fundraiser is for food and fuel for our volunteer to get this beast into battle.  For that, we're setting our goal at $1000.

So here goes.  Help us deliver our evacuation bus to the 1st Medical Battalion!

From our May 2025 Truck Campaign for the 25th Airborne:

Everyone, we did it!!!!  Here's our truck!

It's got a good strong engine, and shifts smooth. As you can see, work has already started to make this thing as "battle ready" as we can so our guys can use it as soon as we hand the keys over.

and here's a photo of the team we'll be delivering to!

I know it's a bit of a juggle sending one vehicle while funding another, but stay tuned for updates on this delivery.  Report and videos expected in by the end of June, so watch the website (www.DniproExpress.com) and the socials (@DniproExpress on facebook, instagram, and BlueSky) for updates!

Going back a bit further:

Here's our trip report from our April run.  Huge shout-out to my good buddy Jack, and Annette and Michael from Pickup4Ukraine for heroing up and making this all possible for us!

Apologies for the delay, we've just finished the montage from our previous run!

A huge "thank you" to everyone out there who continues to make this possible!

As always:

If you are Ukrainian.  If you are in Ukraine...

We're here.

We see what's happening.  We're coming to help. You are not alone.  Stay strong.
