The 37th Marines Need a 4x4!

Ladies and Gentlemen, "Savage" from the 37th Marines called.  They need a vehicle.

The 37th Marines are a legend of a unit.  A quick google search will pop up more headlines from success than you can possibly read in a lifetime, and they've been having it extra rough lately.

This call came to us at the recommendation of "SixTen" from the 25th Airborne.  You remember him, he was the recipient of the L200 we delivered to Kramatorsk last July.  This means the units are talking, and our reputation is preceding us (I say "challenge accepted!")

Here is the team that will be receiving the vehicle.  They state that they need a 4wd pickup, but are at the point they'll take anything we can send them.  Personally, I think this is our chance to knock their socks off.

I'll post updates here regularly as we go.  Our plan is to purchase, repair and maintain the vehicle for service, and deliver it directly to our defenders on the front.

Andrew's Power Supply

Everyone, I am proud to announce that all three power supplies have been FUNDED!

Our very own Vikki in Dnipro is placing the power station on order as we speak, and our mortar team is EXCITED to receive it. more to follow, so stay tuned for pictures when it gets there!

Original post below:

Everyone, let me introduce you to our mortar team.  Andrew (left) is the person we're helping directly:

They've had a rough go of it lately, and Andrew has rotated to the rear for some rest after his most recent deployment.  The man you see standing tall in the second picture was injured and had his leg amputated.  He's currently in rehab and says he's going back to the line as soon as he finishes his treatment (roughly quoting:  "I can still do my job, and now my leg is bullet proof")

We're going to keep this open until Monday January 5th (this is when Paypal says it will be able to catch up, and our funds will be available).  Any donations we receive in excess of what is needed to purchase the 600Wh power supply will be used to purchase a LARGER power supply from the same company.  This will give our recipients more power capacity in the field, which will only serve them better.

Thank you everyone!  We're doing it!!!

Vikki's Power Supply

Everyone, we are now outpacing Paypal!!!

At this point, I can see that we have more than enough funds to purchase VikkiDp's power supply but the payment for Ruslan's unit hasn't been subtracted from our balance yet.  We have so many donations coming in, that I need to wait until that finishes AND I send VikkiDp funds for her power supply before I know the remaining balance for our friends on the mortar team in the 1st International Brigade.  But it is safe to say:  Vikki is getting her power supply!

(original post below)

As you know, Vikki is an absolute wizard and is very much the reason our efforts have been as successful as they are.  Her at her keyboard is very much our superpower, and the blackouts are lasting longer and longer.  Much longer in fact than her laptop can operate without a recharge.  Having a Bluetti of her own would mean that she could keep working her magic, long after the lights have gone out (with the added benefit, that it could also run any needed household appliances!)

Here we go, Vikki.  We're getting you your Bluetti!

Ruslan's Power Supply:

Everyone, Ruslan's power supply is FUNDED!  In total, we raised over $400 last night and as we speak, the money has been sent to Vikki in Dnipro and she is in the process of purchasing and shipping Ruslan's power supply!

This really can't get there soon enough, and I'm glad it's getting there as quick as it is so it can get right to work running his lifesaving equipment.

(original post below)

Good morning, everyone!  We hope you had some wonderful holidays!

Do you remember our friend Ruslan (The Medic from the Intelligence Battalion)?  We've helped him recently with his ambulance, and even got it new tires.  Well, he wrote us recently and asked if we could help him get a new power supply.  You can see a screen clipping of what he needs below.

This is something that can be purchased inside Ukraine for $360, and I think that is WELL within our abilities.  As it sits right now, we have $100 donated from a member of the Grassroots Motorsports forum AND we have $60 sitting in our bank account. This means that for $200 more, we can send Ruslan the power supply he needs.

Donations can be made through our DonorBox account, but full disclosure:  We have two more requests for power supplies as well.  One for a mortar team in the 1st International Medical Battalion, and one for our very own Vikki from Dnipro!

That’s right, things have not let up and the power outtages are increasing.  This means it’s getting harder and harder for Vikki to do the magic that she does from Dnipro, and even though she didn’t exactly ask, we know it’s needed to keep her doing the amazing work she does.

We’ll purchase them one at a time, as we check these off our list we’ll immediately move to the next person.

Cheers everyone!

Christmas Run 2025

(Donations closed, Delivery Complete!)

Everyone, the pictures are coming in from the mothers and children.  The trip report is being written as we speak, but for now please enjoy this video of the children with their Christmas gifts!!

Original Christmas post below

In the picture below is every toy for every child on our list.  In fact, this year we raised enough money that we had $700 left over after our last purchase!  For this balance, we've already contacted the Dnipro Children's hospital and they report that they need UV Disinfectant Lamps.  Lamps that our friend Vikki in Dnipro has already placed on order!

And if you ever doubted whether or not you're sending miracles to these children then you need to watch this video we've just received from little David. This is his "Santa" list, and this year he's sending it directly to us! 🎄

Look at his excitement as he puts on paper the wishes directly from his heart.  Look at the confidence with which his mother helps him write.  He doesn't know it yet, but everything he's putting on that list is already purchased and loaded in the back of our truck! ❤

Just the fact that his mother was confident in us enough to make this video shows us the certainty that exists when it comes to our Christmas deliveries.  There can be no doubts when a mother makes a promise like this to her child, and you're the one out there who makes this all possible.

💙Thank you 💛

(Original fundraiser title page below)

Everyone, the fighting hasn't ended and neither have our efforts. Together, we're going to help ALL 63 of our Ukrainian children who are currently taking refuge in Dnipro get the best Christmas holiday we can possibly bring them! Every penny donated here goes towards a toy or an item from their wishlist. Together, we're going to deliver the entire holiday season.

Since the invasion started, we've been resolute in our determination to take care of the children who've been forced to flee from the fighting in Ukraine and they have not had it easy. As I write this, explosions are being heard in the city, and drones are landing on the roofs of the buildings they're sheltering in. I don't think a single day has gone by without a strike on their infrastructure, and as a result they're living without electricity for 10 to 12 hours every day (and it is COLD!!). This is our 11th run on the city, our fourth Christmas delivery, and we've run over a dozen more cross border excursions to boot. We are doing this!

So here goes. To give us the best chance of success, we’re starting this fundraiser early so be sure to tell all your friends! Sharing is absolutely free, and is the best way to get as many eyes on this as possible (and since it's only open until December 7th, we’ll need all the help we can get!).

We are BACK!!!

Our Ambulance, our Mitsubishi 4x4, our 4-Runner full of supplies, our 7.5-Ton DAF Truck (and the medical supplies that completely filled it), both of our Ultrasounds, it's all been delivered!!!

You can read the trip report in its entirety here:  https://dniproexpress.com/trip-reports/f/trip-20-chuhuiv-or-bust-1-million-helping-hands

Ambulance supplies!

Everyone, our ambulance devices are FUNDED!  In less than 12 hours, you've raised over $700 for the purchase of a 4g WIFI antenna, router, and powerbank kit to be installed in an ambulance for comms.  AND the purchase of a syringe infusion machine to be installed in another ambulance in a different unit.  Total for BOTH was $400 delivered to their units, which means we'll be working with the donors directly to see where they want us to send their funds so we can make sure they do the most good for Ukraine.

As always, thank you ALL for everything you've done to keep making deliveries like this possible.  You're what makes the world a better place, and requests like this should as irrefutable proof (they wouldn't be asking if they thought we wouldn't be able to deliver).

Ambulance Fundraiser:  Remember "The Bucket"!!!

Donations so far (WE'RE FUNDED!!!!):  $3441 (USD) as of 29 August, 2025

The folks at Grassroots Motorsports REALLY rallied last night and raised $1000 in less than 12 hours!  We're funded!

Here is our AMBULANCE!!

Jack already has it back at his garage, and reports that he's going to go in work on beefing up her rear suspension to help make her "war proof".

Thank you so much, everyone!  We're doing it!

More to follow!  (or you can read the original fundraiser below)

Just 4 short months after our ambulance delivery to Gary on the front (Head medic, 1st Medical Battalion) and the ambulance (Affectionately known as "The Bucket") has been destroyed in a drone strike.

Here's the thing:  Gary and I thought WE were upset about it, but YOU.  YOU took this to a whole different level!

Within just two days of the announcement of our loss, we've received $550 in donations from YOU for a replacement!

As if that weren't enough, Jack (the driver of the ambulance during the April delivery) is already offering his wrenching ability in the UK to prep any purchase for use on the line.  Needless to say, we got a BIG education on what these vehicles are put through, and Jack and his mates have the wrenching ability to make these MUCH better suited for the environment.

And now, here's the part you didn't know:  All of this comes at a time when Gary's unit was in massive need of recovery.  OPSEC being what it is, we couldn't make the announcement as it was happening but when The Bucket was destroyed, it was destroyed at a time when Gary's unit went from 5 ambulances to ZERO.  At a time when Gary's unit went from 11 medics to TWO who were not KIA/WIA and Gary wasn't excluded from this.  At the time of The Bucket's destruction, Gary was recovering from shrapnel wounds to his leg (received when his convoy was demolished by russian artillery).

So here we go:  Our replacement ambulance drive has begun!  All donations go to the vehicle purchase, it's prep, or Gary's unit (in that order). We keep nothing for ourselves (not for fuel, not for food, not for transportation... nothing goes to overhead).

We have our eyes on one for sale now in the UK for 2500GBP, if time permits then Jack and his group of volunteer mechanics are standing by with wrenches to assist.

To give us time to sufficiently fund and prep the vehicle, we're setting "Late October" as our delivery date.

For those interested, the story of "The Bucket"'s time in service has been written while it was being relayed to us in real-time.  You can read it at the link below, OR watch the video for a quick (but admittedly a bit silly) tribute to our girl:

https://dniproexpress.com/trip-reports/f/run-17-epilogue-the-fate-of-the-ambulance

Thank you ALL for making this possible.

We're in comms with Gary regularly and we can not possibly convey his gratitude at the work you're doing in the background to help him on the front.

Thank you
