The population of the village of Mosgoi Minguilyawo (see video) in Far North Cameroon is in crucial need for water. Women and children currently have to walk 7 kilometers to go fetch some uncleaned water in the seasonal river. Having access to clean drinking water in the village would be life changing. We would like to build a mechanical water well to supply for the need of this growing population and alleviate their burdens.
The village of Pamplar in Far North Cameroon is in need of a proper masjid or mosque. The mud walls behind the men sitting in the video is their current masjid and Islamic school. They are currently praying in a mud wall area without any roof and it is impossible to have congregation prayers during raining season. the mosque will also serve as a madrasah for kids during the day insha'Allah
