TOGETHER WE CAN END THE YULIN DOG MEAT FESTIVAL AND THE BRUTAL DOG AND CAT MEAT TRADE

In the recent weeks leading up to the June 21 Yulin Dog Meat Festival, thousands of terrified dogs were snatched from the streets and backyards. They were inhumanely transported to Yulin, China, going days without food and water. In Yulin, they were slaughtered and fed to attendees of the annual "festival." This is just a snapshot of the brutal reality of the dog and cat meat trade.

Your donation today will help end the devastating dog and cat meat trade once and for all and stamp out the demand for this festival of horrors.

Our teams in China are making real progress working strategically and steadily to build compassion for and understanding of dogs and cats as family, not food; provide animal care; and advocate for animal welfare laws.

Signs of hope...

  • Yulin Festival attendance has been consistently dwindling in recent years.
  • Almost 70% of people polled in Yulin do not engage in this terrible dog-eating practice, and there is strong support for ending the festival and the horrific dog and cat meat trade.
  • The Chinese version of the movie, Dog's Tale, recently premiered in China, and an astonishing 7 million tickets were sold, showing a positive shift in attitudes toward dogs.

Help us keep fighting! Please give now and stand with Duo Duo Project and all our furry friends! We assure you that we have boots on the ground 365 days a year, and your generous tax-deductible contribution will be put to work for animals in need.
