Jun 8 VT to DC for Gaza

In under two weeks, the people of the United States will be coming together in a truly massive demonstration in the nation’s capital to deliver a message that Joe Biden will not be able to ignore.

On November 4, 2023, hundreds of thousands of people showed up to march to the White House and demand an end to the US-Israeli genocide of Gaza. That rally, the largest pro-Palestine rally in US history, demonstrated that the days of the Israeli occupation, apartheid and genocide are numbered and cannot last in the face of the steadfastness of the Palestinian resistance movement and the strength of the global Palestine solidarity movement.

Now, after eight months of organizing and mobilizing against the US-Israeli genocide, we will return to Washington DC. On June 8, 2024, we will deliver a powerful message to Joe Biden: “When you speak in our name and use our tax dollars to support genocide you do so without the consent of the people. We pledge that we will organize and mobilize today and every day until the genocide that you support ends and until apartheid and occupation end once and for all.” For more information about the demonstration click here.

We plan to send a full bus from Vermont to D.C. in an entirely volunteer-funded effort to participate.

We will be departing at 8 pm on the night of June 7th from Vermont State House at 115 State St., Montpelier, VT.

At 10 pm we'll be stopping at 499 Canal Street, Brattleboro, VT to pick up additional passengers.

We'll arrive in DC at 7 am on June 8th at Freedom Plaza.

After the march, we will board the buses at 9 pm on Saturday, June 8th. We'll stop again at 499 Canal Street, Brattleboro, VT for dropoff at 6 am on Sunday June 9th.

We'll drop off our remaining passengers at 8 am on June 9th at Vermont State House, 115 State St, Montpelier, VT.
