July 24 Boston to DC for Gaza
In May, Biden said that the invasion of Rafah was a red line. But now, the invasion of Rafah has continued for weeks, has expanded to the entire Gaza Strip, and Israel is insisting on continuing the genocide indefinitely. Biden’s red line is nowhere to be seen. Instead of following through and stopping military aid to Israel, Biden has authorized billions more in weapons shipments to be used to kill and massacre Palestinians. Congress has issued a bipartisan invitation for Netanyahu to speak on Capitol Hill.
Biden won't draw the red line: BUT WE WILL. We will accept nothing less than an end to the genocide, an immediate ceasefire, cutting all aid to Israel, and lifting the siege on Gaza. If our demands are not yet met and Netanyahu still dares to address Congress or step foot in the United States, on July 24 or any other day, we will bring the red line to him. The people’s red line is Palestine, and we will not be moved! For more information on the demonstration, click here: https://www.shutitdown4palestine.org/.
Hundreds of people from Boston will ride together in buses down to D.C in an entirely volunteer-funded effort to participate. We will be gathering at 1234 Columbus Ave in Roxbury at 11pm and departing at midnight on the night of Tuesday, July 23rd from Roxbury. We will arrive in DC around 7-8am on Wednesday, July 24th. After the action in DC, we will board the buses at 7pm on the same day in order to arrive back in Boston on Thursday morning (July 25th) around 4-5am.
