Your Monthly Gift: A Lifeline for Senior Animals All Year Long!

Who We Are
At Silver Paws Golden Days Co Sanctuary, we are dedicated to giving senior and special needs animals a second chance at life. Our mission is rooted in compassion—for animals and people. We have a desire to help both senior animals and humans, including helping a pet owner by keeping her beloved companions while she gets back on her feet. We’re also developing further programs to support senior pet owners in our community.

In addition to providing lifelong care for many of our residents, some of our dogs are adoptable, ready to bring love and joy to their forever families.

Why seniors?

Senior animals often face heartbreaking odds: they’re the first to be euthanized in shelters and spend four times longer waiting for a home. At Silver Paws, we step in where others can’t, offering medical care, comfort, and a loving forever home. From lifesaving surgeries to nutritious meals, every dollar ensures our seniors live their golden years surrounded by love. Together, we can ensure no senior spends their final days without love, comfort, and care.

Save their lives
Become a hero for senior animals by joining our Pawsie Monthly Giving Program. Your recurring gift ensures consistent care, covering vet visits, healthy meals, and a warm place to rest. Even $5 a month adds up to life saving change, $25 a month provides the oldies with clean fresh bedding all month long, while $50 covers food and daily supplements for one dog for an entire week.

Join us today and give senior animals the love they deserve. Every gift, no matter the size, makes a life-changing impact.

Pawsie Members Are Tori’s Hope for Healing

When Tori arrived at our sanctuary, she was a 29-pound senior dog struggling with severe lymphomas and weight issues that made her daily life difficult. With love, specialized care, and the support of people like you, Tori has made incredible progress—losing enough weight to safely undergo the surgery she needs to remove her lymphomas. Now, we need your help to get her the surgery.

Your support ensures Tori can continue her healing journey and reminds her she’s surrounded by love. Please help us complete her story with a happy, healthy ending!

Pawsie Members Make Monty’s Golden Years Possible

Monty joined our sanctuary last January after narrowly escaping the euthanasia list at an overcrowded local shelter. Despite being diagnosed with untreatable mast cell tumors, Monty hasn’t let anything hold him back from living his best life. For the past 11 months, he’s been the biggest goofball, known for his adorable underbite and sunbathing naps.

While Monty’s condition has led to some muscle loss and tumor growth, he continues to enjoy every moment at the sanctuary. Your support allows Monty to live out his golden years in comfort, love, and pure baked-potato bliss. Help us keep Monty’s tail wagging!

Pawsie Members Prove Every Life is Worth Saving

Candice came to us after her owners decided her care was “too much for their lifestyle.” Paralyzed animals like Candice face overwhelming stigma, often seen as disposable or inconvenient. But thanks to Pawsie members, we know better—these animals can lead incredible, joy-filled lives.

Candice is living proof, spending her days as a happy, bright-eyed princess, completely unbothered by her injuries. She’s a testament to the power of compassion and community. By becoming a Pawsie member, you ensure that more animals like Candice have the chance to thrive in love and comfort.

You Gave Krys the Dignity He Deserved

Last year, Krys Kringle’s family brought him to the shelter wearing a dirty sweater, requesting euthanasia. While the shelter provides this necessary service, staff have to carry the emotional burden as no one can't stay with their pets. Instead of euthanasia the shelter chose to entrust Krys' care to us.

Although his condition was terminal, you allowed us to give Krys an incredible final chapter—a month and a half filled with love, a bucket list of adventures, and his favorite treats like chicken nuggets. With your support, Krys crossed the rainbow bridge surrounded by care and dignity.

Pawsie members make these moments possible for dogs like Krys. Join us to ensure every senior and special needs dog has the love and dignity they deserve.

Romeo has been given an extra year of life and counting, thanks to the kindness and compassion of people like you

Romeo joined our sanctuary after his owners brought him to the shelter as a euthanasia request for "excessive diarrhea." Thankfully the shelter staff realized even his bowls were healthy, giving him giving him a 2nd chance here with us. Romeo has thrived over the past year, please consider joining the Pawsie to be a part of his story.
