The reef needs YOU! Let's join forces to save our reef

The Roatan Marine Park has worked tirelessly to mitigate the effects of Stony Coral Tissue Loss (SCTLD) since September 2020. Thanks to the support we received last year we were able to raise awareness on SCTLD and treat priority corals so that they can continue to reproduce and give structure to our reef.

However, SCTLD has had devastating effects on the reef, and we need to shift our focus towards coral reef restoration at a larger scale. And that's why we have the plan to build the first Coral Restoration Center of Roatan, a  facility where we will be able to hold highly susceptible species of corals which are now difficult to find in the wild, conduct innovating coral restoration techniques such as micro fragmentation and conduct assisted sexual reproduction of stony corals. All this with the idea to restore our beautiful reef. You can join forces and donate today to help us save the reef!
