Welcome to the Jefferson Food Pantry's donation campaign page! Your support can help us ensure no one in our community goes hungry. With each donation, you join us in making a meaningful difference for individuals and families facing food insecurity.

Over the past year, the Jefferson Food Pantry has made major strides to meet our community’s needs. We’ve replaced our walk-in cooler and freezer units, reimagined our waiting area with new paint, seating, and resource boards, and expanded capacity with new pantry shelving, freezers, an outdoor produce cart, and raised garden beds. Facility improvements, made in partnership with our landlord, include resurfaced parking, improved drainage, enhanced security, and updated outdoor signage. In 2024, we also completed electrical and roofing upgrades.

In response to increased demand, we’ve introduced new services, including personalized guest assistance with Senior Stockbox DoorDash deliveries, Palermo “FREE Pizza Giveaway Days,” RiverBlend Meal Kits (our version of Hello Fresh), energy efficiency kit distribution, weekly recipes, and cooking tips. We’ve also expanded our birthday bag program, created a "Little Free Pantry" open 24/7, and launched our free seasonal produce market.

We continue to see an unprecedented rise in guests, increasing by 450% since May 2021, and now serving over 50 households per pantry day. This rapid growth requires us to extend service hours and rely on additional financial support to keep our shelves stocked. While our partnerships with local food banks help, the rise in food prices has impacted our ability to keep up with demand.
