Dear Friends:
I’m hoping you’ll help us with our $50,000 goal for year 2025 to send deserving students to Space Camp at the U.S. Space and Rocket Center or the Cosmosphere in Hutchinson, KS.
Since 2021, we have sent 71 kids to the U.S. Space and Rocket Center Space Camp. This summer, we are sending 28! Summer 2026, we hope to launch even more space camp dreams.
The central goal of Janet’s Planet is to engage, inspire, and catapult young scientists, engineers, and future space explorers to inhabit and stand in the fullness of their magnificence.
At Janet's Planet Explore Science Foundation, we believe that the future of space exploration begins with igniting curiosity and inspiring dreams in the minds of young explorers.
This year, we are on a mission to provide an extraordinary opportunity for a remarkable group of students to attend space camp – an experience that could change their lives forever.
These bright and eager young minds, ranging from ages 11 to 14, come from communities where opportunities like this are rare. Hailing from diverse backgrounds and places such as Americus, GA, Pottstown, PA, Blue Bell, PA, Newberry, SC, New Braunfels, TX, and Hendersonville, TN, these children represent a beautiful tapestry of cultures and dreams.
They share one common goal: to reach for the stars, both literally and figuratively.
To make this vision a reality, we are aiming to raise $50,000 to cover the expenses for these deserving students.
Our goal is not just to send them to space camp but to inspire them to believe in their potential, to cultivate their curiosity, and to equip them with the knowledge and confidence to pursue careers in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM).
We deeply value your heart for education and space initiatives, and your own aerospace experience, and I am reaching out to seek your help in achieving this goal. This is not just about funding a trip; it is about investing in the future, fostering inclusivity, and inspiring the next generation of explorers and innovators.
If you are open to it, I would love the opportunity to speak with you directly, share more about this initiative, and explore how your involvement could make a profound impact. Thank you for considering this opportunity to inspire and empower young minds. I look forward to the possibility of working together to turn dreams into realities.
Janet’s Planet's reason for sending students to the U.S. Space and Rocket Center is to ignite their space and scientific dreams, to build an educated citizenry and inspire the next generation of innovators!
With inflation high and attempts to make sure the scholarship is covered in every aspect, the current price for US Space and Rocket Center Space Camp/Cosmosphere is $1599-1899 per student + airfare and travel to get to Huntsville, Alabama or the Cosmosphere in Hutchinson, KS.
Your gift today will help give students who come from all walks of life and varying financial circumstances in the US a chance to pursue their space dreams now!
We have so much to do, and the requests are great—which is why we’ve set such an ambitious goal for this year!
Help us elevate our mission to reach even more students in 2025 and beyond with the gift of space education and space and STEM experiences.
And if not this year, think of Janet's Planet next time. Give as generously as you can where you feel led.
A gift to Janet’s Planet Explore Science Foundation helps ensure our financial ability to give and support students' space goals and dreams, but you will also contribute to a future where there is SPACE is for EVERYONE!
Please help us reach our $50,000 goal with your generous gift.
