Children were better nourished after WW2 than they are now. Normal family meals were - meat and two veg. every day apart for fish on a Friday and roast beef on Sundays and left overs on Mondays. We had health care which included dentristry. What we need to remember is we are the many and they are the over wealthy few who don't like paying their fair share of taxes and want to impoverish us deliberately.

I’m watching out for the result. Hoping for a seismic one.

Best of luck Jamie. I know you realise this is a far bigger story than one man taking on the machine and winning. Your election will tell us whether this a new start for our country. Or more of the same old grift and corruption. I and thousands of others think it’s way past time for radical change. Together we can do this !✊🙏❤️

GND Rising are doing incredible work. Great campaigning - online and off for a bold, green candidate. We need to see more of this in the lead up to the general election. I hope the result makes Keir Starmer squirm.

Once in a while comes an outstanding politician. This time we're lucky - it's Jamie. What I see is a man who's in the right place on every issue - whether it's climate, jobs, transport or community, he's spot on - and.. he has the ability to work with others to get it done. It's sad our system makes so little space for Greens, but I have no problem giving my vote to Jamie this time - and to me it's actually an asset that he's not Tory, not Labour, not Lib, - not even Green - he's INDEPENDENT ! - Just what we need ! Go Jamie ! Fingers crossed for Thursday. (Don't forget to take voter I.D.)

Labour require a shock result to put them back on track and, anyway, Jamie is far the best candidate.

Political parties in Westminster often support Plutocrats, we need more independent politicians for people and planet.

We really are at a watershed moment - the opportunity to move beyond tired, discredited party politics and into a place where independent, local people represent the region, with purely the social and economic interests of the region and its people at the heart of everything. Very best of luck Jamie!
