Ten years ago, IYT started with 17 students and one school. Today, thanks to the generosity and dedication of school leaders and supporters like you, we're proudly serving 3,400 young men of color at over 65 middle schools, high schools, and college campuses across California. We provide mentorship and up to 12 years of wrap-around programs and services to members, whom we call "Brothers". With a 99% high school graduation rate (24% over state average) and a 79% college-going rate (26% over state average), IYT is changing the face of college attainment.
With the start of the school year fast approaching, we’re asking supporters like you to help our young men of color feel confident, prepared, and excited about this coming year by supporting our Back to School Campaign. With costs for school supplies rising and a majority of our members being low-income, your contributions are critical to helping our young scholars get ready for school.
