Food insecurity is rising in our neighborhoods, and too many of our neighbors—seniors, families, youth, and unhoused individuals—are going without meals. At It’s All Love Assisting Through Action (IAL), we believe food is more than nutrition. It’s dignity, care, and connection.
Since launching in May 2025, we’ve already delivered hundreds of grocery bags, hot meals, and pantry boxes across Bedford-Stuyvesant and Crown Heights. But the demand keeps growing—and we need your help to meet it.
What We’re Doing
🌱 Pantry Window Pop-Ups – Short, welcoming grocery distributions in trusted community spaces like schools, senior centers, and housing developments.
🚐 “We’re Outside” Mobile Initiative – Hot meals and pantry boxes delivered directly to seniors, shelters, schools, and unhoused neighbors.
🎒 Special Events – Back-to-school giveaways, holiday turkeys, toys, and more—because food justice is also about joy and belonging.
Why It Matters
1 in 4 Brooklyn households struggles to afford groceries.
Seniors on fixed incomes face impossible choices between food, medicine, and rent.
Children rely on school meals but often go hungry when school is closed.

Our Goal

Reach 1,500+ neighbors with healthy food by the end of next year
Expand school-based pantries to serve 250+ families
Deliver directly to 300+ seniors who cannot leave their homes
Provide hot meals for 100+ unhoused individuals every month
