Legal pathways like U visas, T visas, and VAWA (Violence Against Women Act) petitions offer protection, stability, and a chance to rebuild their lives—but the legal process can be long, complex, and costly.
U Visa: Provides relief for victims of certain crimes who have suffered mental or physical abuse and are willing to assist law enforcement in the investigation or prosecution of those crimes.
T Visa: Protects survivors of human trafficking, allowing them to remain in the U.S., access services, and work toward independence and recovery.
VAWA Petition: Allows victims of domestic violence, sexual assault, or extreme cruelty by a U.S. citizen or permanent resident family member to seek legal status independently, without relying on their abuser.

Unfortunately, the cost of legal representation, document preparation, and application fees can be overwhelming—especially for those already struggling to rebuild their lives.
Private attorneys often charge $15,000 to $30,000 for these complex immigration cases. Our nonprofit legal staff, however, is able to provide quality and competent services for a quarter of the price, ensuring that survivors can access justice and safety without facing financial ruin.
