As I lovingly remember my mother (Violet Marie Moore), grandmother (Glorious Marie Moore), great-grandmother (Alma P. Baker), God-mother (Leona those before them, and others who loved me enough to want to see me succeed, I say THANK YOU TO EACH OF YOU AND MY COUSIN PEGGY LYNETTE RUSSELL FOR DOING WHAT YOU DO! This dedication and commitment to help other young ladies isn't easy but very much needed. The women in my family were raised with a "Strong Constitution." My mother became a mother as a young teenager. Going through a lot of trials, tribulations, and hardships, she found the courage to fight thru, rise up, and keep pressing her way by God's Grace and the help of some who cared, supported, encouraged, and believed in her. So she too, was able to turn her life around, give back by helping other young women, and raised my sister and I to be the best version of ourselves God made us to be, to reach and surpass our potential, to never let anyone crush our dreams, to always stand on God's Word; and to "Rise Up" everytime no matter what came our way. My mother and all of these ladies were one of you young ladies in their day, who made it out. Me, as another woman pressing my way, who also made it out, I implore you; I challenge you, to keep going, never give up, and know that you are loved, important, worthy, and you are somebody. Your voice matters and you matter, no matter what it may look like, feel like, or what others say. TRUST IN GOD, STAND ON HIS WORD, DON'T GIVE UP, KEEP MOVING, KEEP PRESSING FORWARD AND "RISE UP" AS THE BEAUTIFUL WOMEN OF GOD YOU WERE CREATED TO BE; EACH UNIQUE, WITH DIFFERENT TALENTS AND ABILITIES. BE THE POSITIVE CHANGE YOU WANT TO SEE AND BE; THE POSITIVE CHANGE WE SO DESPERATELY NEED IN THE MIDST OF THIS CHAOTIC WORLD WE LIVE IN TODAY! TO GOD BE THE GLORY BEAUTIFUL QUEENS!
