September is Hygiene Elementary's Jogathon Fundraiser Month!

The Jogathon is Hygiene Elementary School’s big annual fundraiser organized by the Parent Teacher Organization (PTO). The PTO invests the proceeds directly into the school to pay for busing for field trips, to provide $300 classroom supply budget for every teacher, to purchase technology for student use in the classroom, to fund special Arts programs, to fund safety programs and for PTO-sponsored activities throughout the year such as Fall Carnival, Science Fair, Spelling Bee, Hawk Air, Talent Show and much, much more!

How it works:

Students go out into the community and collect donations from friends, family and community members. Donations can be collected in the provided manila envelope sent home in Friday Folders or donations can be made online at:

 Students who raise money qualify for great prizes that are awarded at a prize assembly after the Jogathon!
All donations should be submitted by 4:00 pm on Thursday September 26th.
The fundraiser closes out with a celebration on Monday September 30th when all students participate in a fun run at the school called the Jogathon. Students run laps with their classmates while parents and staff cheer them on. All students receive a t-shirt, water bottle and healthy snack on the day of the event.  If you want to split your donation between students, add extra students in the comment line of the donation box.
