I have, for many years, wanted to create and fund an organisation such as this .. but of course, without a proper 'assessment' of a condition that, in retrospect, has been blindingly obvious for the last 65 years .. I have (due to the travails of undiagnosed ADHD, been far too scatter-brained to begin so much as a checklist! I hope this journey may open a small portal where I can at least get a glimpse of freedom from disorder!
A Christmas gift to my sister and her husband, who lost brother/ brother in law Tom this year. Tom was a lifelong happy Hoarder.
I found the Conference very helpful, especially in terms of finding a new language to describe hoarding behaviour in an attempt to lesson embarrassment for both the person and those affected and to remove the stigma with which society views the problem. I really like ‘Environmental Well-being’ as an umbrella term to describe the disorder. Thanks for all the support throughout the years. Everything of the best.
In memory of Barnaby, I hope you are at peace.
Its too late for Anne Marie but hopefully someone else will benefit.
