Help Us Support Brother Tyrone "Waheed" Smith Janāzah & Burial
إِنَّا لِلَّهِ وَإِنَّـا إِلَيْهِ رَاجِعُونَ
Innā lillāhi wa innā ilayhi rājiʿūn
To Allah we belong, and to Him we shall return.
With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of our beloved brother, Tyrone Smith, who returned to Allah ﷻ on September 15, 2026, at the age of 67.
This case was brought to The Janazah Project through a trusted community leader in Hudson County, New Jersey. The surviving family member is currently facing financial hardship and does not have the means to cover the cost of the janāzah and burial.
We are reaching out to our community for urgent support so that we can help prevent any delay in Brother Tyrone’s janāzah and burial.
The Prophet ﷺ said:
“Whoever relieves a believer's hardship of this world, Allah will relieve for him a hardship on the Day of Resurrection.”
