US Ambulances for Ukraine has been sending ambulances, fire engines, and SUVs to Ukrainian Medics and first responders since March 29, 2022. With the help of Donors like you, we are about to send 10 more ambulances in March and April. Thank you to everyone that has helped us!
On average each vehicle shipped to Ukraine costs about $11,000, this covers shipping it from anywhere in the USA to anywhere in Ukraine. The cost will vary depending on the size of the vehicle and method of shipment.
For example, one of the ambulances delivered in June of 2025, came from the west coast of the USA and was then shipped to Germany, and then Estonia. From there it was driven through Latvia, Lithuania, Poland and then into Ukraine.
By the end of May, we will have delivered 118 emergency vehicles to Ukraine. While we are excited by that number, the truth is, more still needs to be done. Russia continues to attack Ukraine. Russia continues to target first responders and the need for emergency vehicles continues to grow. Thankfully we continue to be blessed with donors willing to donate ambulances and other critically important emergency vehicles to this effort.
Now that our 22nd shipment is in process, we are now making plans for our 23rd shipment which we hope to send later this summer. It looks like we will have another 10 ambulances in that batch. This means we will need to raise approximately $110,000 between now and the end of August.
As always, our goal is to get as many emergency vehicles likes ambulances into the hands of Ukrainian first responders as soon possible. So, we are starting to raise funds now.
US Ambulances for Ukraine is a registered 501c3. Contributions to this effort are tax deductible. Also, all money raised goes to covering the cost associated with shipping these vehicles to Ukraine, everyone at US Ambulances for Ukraine works in a voluntary capacity, so all donations go directly to the mission. So, every dollar donated makes a real difference and helps get vehicles into the hands of Ukrainian first responders.
