US Ambulances for Ukraine has been sending ambulances, fire engines, and SUVs to Ukrainian Medics and first responders since March 29, 2022. During this time, we have sent 21 shipments of emergency vehicles filled with medical supplies and firefighting equipment. On average each vehicle shipped to Ukraine costs about $11,000, this covers shipping it from anywhere in the USA to anywhere in Ukraine. The cost will vary depending on the size of the vehicle and method of shipment.
For example, one of the ambulances delivered in June of 2025, came from the west coast of the USA and was then shipped to Germany, and then Estonia. From there it was driven through Latvia, Lithuania, Poland and then into Ukraine.
While we are pleased to have shipped 108 vehicles, the truth is, more still needs to be done. Russia continues to attack Ukraine. Russia continues to target first responders and the need for emergency vehicles continues to grow. Thankfully we continue to be blessed with donors willing to donate ambulances and other critically important emergency vehicles to this effort.
We are about to launch our 22nd shipment of ambulances to Ukraine. We have funding to ship 8 ambulances, but we have 9 ambulances ready to go. If we can raise $9100 by March 15,2026, we can ship the 9th ambulance which will go to a volunteer fire department in Boryspil, Ukraine. In May of 2025, donors helped us deliver a fire engine to them from Virginia. These brave volunteer firefighters in Boryspil have used that fire engine (see image above) over and over again during repeated Russian attacks. Now we want to send them an Ambulance.
Our goal is to get as many emergency vehicles likes ambulances, fire engines and SUVs into the hands of Ukrainian first responders as soon possible. But we need your help.
US Ambulances for Ukraine is a registered 501c3. Contributions to this effort are tax deductible. Also, all money raised goes to covering the cost associated with shipping these vehicles to Ukraine, everyone at US Ambulances for Ukraine works in a voluntary capacity, so all donations go directly to the mission.
