Help Us Save Our Unborn Child — A Fragile Pregnancy in Gaza Needs Urgent Care

Peace be upon you,

 My name is Nidal Al-Shanbari, writing to you from Gaza.

 I am living in extremely difficult conditions with my pregnant wife. We are just two people trying to hold on to hope in the middle of hardship. 

My wife is suffering from severe malnutrition and diabetes, and her pregnancy is very fragile. This is not our first attempt at having a child. 

She was pregnant before, but we lost the baby because we could not afford the costly injections needed to stabilize the pregnancy.

 That loss broke our hearts. Now, after long treatment and effort, she is pregnant again. But this pregnancy is also at risk. She urgently needs daily injections and ongoing medical care to keep the baby safe. 

These treatments are far beyond what we can afford. I am unemployed, and we have no source of income. We are living in a worn-out tent that cannot protect us from the conditions around us. I have medical documents to prove her condition and treatment, and I will share photos to show our situation. 

I am reaching out with all humility and hope, asking for your help. Your support could make the difference between losing another child and finally holding our baby in our arms.
