Creative Restorations INC (CR INC) is a nonprofit organization founded and led by individuals with lived experience in addiction, incarceration, and recovery. We know firsthand what it means to start over—and we’ve built a mission around helping others do the same.
Through compassionate, boots-on-the-ground outreach, CR INC serves some of the most vulnerable members of our community. We’ve distributed over 5,000 doses of Narcan, nearly 7,000 fentanyl and xylazine test strips, and successfully linked 302 individuals to treatment services. But our work doesn’t stop there.
We operate a free food, clothing, and hygiene pantry, which served 1,099 individuals in just one year—including 823 individuals who received essential clothing and hygiene supplies. We also assist with vital records, case management, peer support, harm reduction education, and provide real-time crisis response in our neighborhoods.
Every Saturday, we host a community food giveaway, proudly sponsored by Wegmans and FeedMore of WNY, ensuring families have access to fresh, nourishing food right in the heart of the community.
Our team doesn’t just talk about change—we are the change. As people in long-term recovery and formerly incarcerated individuals, we walk beside those we serve with empathy, integrity, and lived wisdom.
