Fionita's Project (FP) Community Interest Company is a non-profitable organisation registered by Ms. Igwe in June 2019. The project has been operational and self-funded for 8 years.
Fionita's Project was poignantly inspired by the untimely death of Ms. Igwe's grandmother due to a cardiac arrest, due to the lack of adequate equipment including AEDs.
The project was formed due to an increased demand for first aid knowledge in underprivileged areas, to decrease untimely deaths, and observe an overall growth of social mobility.
In January 2022, FP started offering locals within the Ikorodu area the opportunity to receive free healthcare services at FP's first community centre.
We would love to continue and extend our work, through monthly medical outreach projects that will include free General Medicine, General Paediatrics & Prenatal Care to locals.
The project will be aided by educational workshops, in line with FP aims, to increase the community's knowledge of specific communicable and non-communicable diseases.
Your help would be greatly appreciated!
