In June 2026, Russian Refugee Foundation plans to take part in NYC Pride through a marching group and a nonprofit booth at PrideFest.
For many LGBTQ+ people from Russian-speaking communities Pride is not only a celebration. It is also a message of safety, dignity, and survival. Many face persecution, political repression, forced migration, family rejection, and fear of returning home.
Our goal is to bring these voices into one of the world’s most visible Pride events — and to use this opportunity to raise awareness, build community support, and collect donations for our human rights and refugee assistance work.
Your donation will help cover official participation costs, booth registration, printed materials, banners, outreach supplies, and fundraising materials for NYC Pride 2026.
Budget goal: $2,750
Funds will help cover:
- NYC Pride March vehicle registration: $500
- PrideFest nonprofit merchandise booth: $1,000
- Required event liability insurance: $255
- Banners, flyers, QR donation signs, and printed materials: $500
- T-shirts, stickers, and outreach materials: $400
- Transportation, storage, and miscellaneous event costs: $95
