Dinkar Magdum retired from the army in 2008 and also received several medals while serving in the army. He was always a kind and loving person by nature. His business wasn’t performing well these recent years and during covid, it was totally shut down due to the strict covid lockdown policies. He was also facing kidney and liver problems during this time which resulted in lots of medical expenses too. He was too stressed due to his situation and decided to end his life on 21 August 2020. The stress and pain might have ended for him but his family is still suffering.
Today his wife operates a small food store in India, selling breakfast and lunch food items, and is the only source of income for her daughter and herself. Dinkar’s daughter will be applying to the university this summer and is currently studying in the 12th grade. It is very difficult for a single working lady to manage all the expenses. The family is going through a lot of financial and emotional problems and needs our help.
We cannot bring back Dinkar but we definitely can provide financial support for his wife and daughter. Our financial support can help his family in a long run with health needs and also help his daughter with her higher education. This small family of two women needs our help to start a better life.
