Before they went to Abba's HouseThe original group of kids from ABBA’s House is grown. By Kenyan law, they must leave the orphanage after high school. So a few years ago, we started quietly helping them pursue university and trade school. Today, we’re working with 13 young men and women, and we believe they can go on to do amazing things for their church, their communities, and their country.
They are smart. They are generous. And they were raised in a loving, faith-filled home. I truly believe, with a little more guidance and support, they can become leaders in their generation.
Let me share what one of them told me recently:
“Before ABBA’s House, I didn’t think I had a future. Now I’m in trade school learning to be an electrician. I want to help my community the way you helped me.”
— George, age 22
That’s why we’re launching a new program called “Help Them Finish.”
