Seeds Worth Sowing is a mutual aid-based organization dedicated to closing the gap in housing instability and strengthening maternal health for underserved families. We believe that stable housing is essential to maternal well-being, and our mission is to ensure that every parent has access to the resources, support, and security needed for a healthy parenthood experience. Through rehousing assistance, emergency aid, and holistic care programs, we work to create lasting stability for families.
Our work began in response to the 2020 Twin Cities uprising, mobilizing quickly to support families left without access to essential resources. Since then, we’ve become a trusted community hub, building deep relationships to expand our Community Welfare System and ensure no parent has to navigate hardship alone.

As a 100% Black- and Brown-led organization, we know that stability is key to serving our community effectively.
