We at the Committee Against Bird Slaughter (CABS) work across Europe and the Mediterranean to stop and prevent the illegal killing of migratory birds.
Each migration season, our brave teams head into key migration areas to conduct 'bird protection camps' in the main poaching hotspot areas. We put boots on the ground to find and dismantle illegal traps and nets, document incidents of illegal shooting, black market trade and support the Police in bringing poachers to justice!
Beyond the field, we also campaign for stronger laws and better enforcement at both a local and international level, making sure vulnerable bird species are protected along their migration routes!
