turned upside down. We are safe, staying with family in South Pasadena. We've begun navigating the maze of home insurance, FEMA, and change-of-address forms steps that feel both practical and surreal.
But what has truly taken our breath away is the outpouring of love and support we've received.
Friends, family, colleagues, and even strangers have stepped in with kindness we could never have imagined - donating clothes, supplies, and more than anything, hope. And you, our extended family, have helped us not only meet but surpass our goal, lifting a weight we didn't think could be lifted.
This experience has been a revelation. In the face of calamity, the world reveals its truest colors. Society has been conditioned to see life as a solitary pursuit, but when everything is stripped away, something beautiful remains: our inherent instinct to help, to give, to stand by one another. At our core, people are good. When all else is lost, we don't drift apart we come together.
