Last year, our two wildlife ambulances collectively covered over 25,000 miles travelling across the district to callouts, vet visits, and releases, some as far as Portishead!
Our oldest wildlife ambulance is on its last wheels and has made the journey to retirement. With just one wildlife ambulance covering North Wiltshire, East Berkshire and South Gloucestershire, our rescue capabilities are limited.
We are urgently seeking donations towards a new van so that we have two fully operational wildlife ambulances. With two vehicles we will be able to attend more emergencies and help more wildlife in need.
Our ideal van is a modern, electric model that helps us to not only reduce our carbon footprint but also reduce fuel and repair costs, allowing us to redirect vital funds towards rehabilitating injured and orphaned wildlife.
Your support will make a real and lasting difference. By donating, you’re helping us respond faster to wildlife emergencies, rescue more injured wildlife, and continue providing life-saving care where it’s needed most. Every mile driven in the new wildlife ambulance will be thanks to generous donors like you.
Any additional funds raised will be redirected to other welfare needs within our Branch.
