I am thrilled to announce my candidacy for re-election as the Green Party Councillor for Cork City South West!
My Vision for Cork: A Greener, More Sustainable Future
In my previous term, we made significant strides towards creating a healthier and more sustainable Cork. As your Councillor, I will steadfastly work towards:
🏡 Affordable Housing for All: Ensuring access to good quality, affordable housing is not just a goal, but a fundamental right. Building more public and cost rental accommodation will help to supplement private and affordable housing. Also dealing with vacant and derelict properties to bring them back into use.
🌱 A Just Transition to a Carbon-Free Future: Moving away from carbon-intensive activities is essential for our environment. Therefore something as simple as reusing or recycling materials saves energy and our habitat. We need to move to more circular thinking.
🚶♂️🚴 Encouraging Sustainable Transport: The City development plan promotes compact growth and a 15 minute city. Therefore we need, safety for people walking and cycling, and greater access to affordable and reliable public transport.
🤝 Promoting Cooperation and Community Engagement: Through community groups like the Tidy Towns, Men's Sheds and Community Gardens we come together to enjoy each others company and also creating a better environment. Together, we can achieve more.

I can only accept donations from people living in Ireland or Irish citizens living abroad.
I cannot accept more than €1,000 from the same person in a calendar year.
I cannot accept an anonymous donation of more than €100.
