THE HONORABLE D. LOWELL JENSEN SCHOLARSHIP
The goal of this scholarship award is to award excellence in public speaking and presentation. The scholarship is designed to assist graduating high school students who have demonstrated an interest in public speaking and/or jurisprudence by providing money to further their academic studies. This year, at least one student will be awarded a scholarship of $1,250. Additional scholarships may be awarded in the discretion of the scholarship committee.
ELIGIBILITY: The Scholarship will be awarded to high school senior(s) who graduate from a high school located in Alameda County. Students participating in the Philip J. Hartley Alameda County Mock Trial Competition or other debate or public speaking programs may apply.
The Awardee(s) will be announced on or before June 1, 2021. Awardee(s) must be present to accept the award at the annual Earl Warren American Inn of Court Dinner on June 16, 2021 at 6:00 pm in Oakland.
