Help Protect Ukraine's Defenders from Russian Drones
Soldiers repelling Russian invaders face terror from a sky patrolled by armed robots. Thousands of Russian drones both surveil and assault Ukrainian infantry. Means of defense are evolving fast, and you can help. This urgent campaign will enable Ukraine Defense Support, a Seattle nonprofit organization, to purchase and rapidly deliver tools to the frontlines. With your support, we will provide the following to specific units on the frontlines, including the 71st Jaeger Brigade stationed near Vovchans’k, northeast of Kharkiv.
- Three to five GPS signal jammers. These sophisticated and portable electronic devices interfere with the navigation of Russian drones, enabling soldiers to operate more safely. Signal jammers vary in cost from $3-6,000, depending on mobility, range, and quality. We will purchase units that are best suited for their specific destination.
- Radio equipment to improve communication among units tracking drones, ~$3,000.
- Three net guns to capture enemy drones. This cutting-edge technology is deployed from Ukrainian drones, shooting a net to thwart and seize a Russian drone in midair. Each costs about $1,000.
- 50 netgun cartridges, each providing one projectile net to arm a netgun for $80 apiece.
