Who are we?
Pamenar Press is an independent press producing books of poetry, as well as hybrid and critical writing forms. Our goal is to publish and promote cross-cultural, multilingual, and experimental works and encourage intermedia collaborations.
Our journey over the last three years of publishing has been supported by our readers and contributors. We have produced 17 published titles of experimental poetry, translation, and critical writing, including translations into and out of Spanish, French, Middle French, Catalan, and forthcoming in Arabic. We also produce the Pamenar Online Magazine for free that has promoted contemporary cross-cultural and multilingual poetry in diverse formats and media, giving a voice to emerging and established poets. https://www.pamenarpress.com/online-magazine

Why do we need your help?
Our staffing and material costs are significant and increasing as we promote poetry to new and existing readers, promote our authors, and hold events. To fulfill our mission to produce experimental writing that is cross-cultural, we are asking for your support in reaching our fundraising goal of £25,000 ($30,000).
How will the funds be used?
Apart from Donorbox fees, 100% of your donation will contribute directly to:
- Publishing all of our 2023 publications, including print and design costs.
- Introducing international audiences to contemporary multilingual and cross-cultural poetry.
- Supporting our in-person and virtual readings of leading authors bringing together our community.
- Creating workshops focused on experimental writing and translation.
- Maintaining Pamenar Online Magazine with 200+ works from international, visual, textual, and performative artists.
- Creating a website to support an issue-based magazine with a focus on translation.
- Connecting poetry with contemporary art fields by creating transdisciplinary public programmes.
- Supporting a sustainable economic structure for Pamenar Press, its artists, and the community.
