My name is Mamdouh. I am only 18 years old, and I am writing to you from Gaza.
War has taken everything from us. My family and I have faced hunger, cold, and constant fear. I have been injured, and I have even experienced imprisonment at such a young age. Today, we no longer have a real home—only a torn tent that barely shields us from the wind and rain.
I was forced to leave school to care for my family. Instead of focusing on my future, I carry responsibilities no young person should have to bear. Despite having so little, I still try to help orphaned children around me—because I know their pain too well.
During Ramadan, a time meant for peace, reflection, and blessings, our suffering feels even heavier. Many days, we cannot find enough food or clean water. Nights are long, cold, and uncertain.
I am reaching out with hope in my heart. Your support—no matter how small—can truly change our lives. It can mean a warm meal, a blanket against the cold, or a moment of relief from this hardship.
Your donation can help us with:
- Basic food supplies and clean drinking water
- Warm clothing and blankets
- Repairing or replacing our damaged tent
- Medical care for injuries and illness
- Support for orphaned children in our community
- A chance for me to continue my education someday
Please don’t turn away. Your kindness can bring light back into our darkest days. Even the smallest act of generosity can give us hope to keep going.
