Help My Mom, Klara Continue Her Fight Against Cancer 💞
We are Adil and Murat, the younger and older sons of Klara. We're running this fundraising campaign to support our mom in her ongoing battle against cancer. Your help has been crucial so far, and we're reaching out again for your support in this next phase of her treatment.
Our mom has been diagnosed with endometrial adenocarcinoma (stage 4) in 2021. Since then we've tried lots of different treatments, including chemo, radiotherapy, surgeries and so on. But eventually hit the wall with the options in Kazakhstan. In 2024, we raised 37,000 EUR, which allowed our mom to undergo endovascular chemo treatments in South Korea. These treatments showed promising results and made a huge difference in her health! Later on, we continued treatment in Kazakhstan and covered all the expenses ourselves. However, due to bone marrow exhaustion, she can no longer withstand general chemotherapy and now requires endovascular treatment again, as it is localized and doesn’t affect other, healthy parts of the body.
Recent Developments
Recent medical reports indicate some complications:
- A stent was placed in left ureter.
- There are signs of a solid mass in the upper mediastinum (upper part of the left lung), with suspicions of lymphoma.
- Complications include severe secondary anemia, secondary leukopenia, and secondary thrombocytopenia, indicating bone marrow exhaustion.
- Metastases have progressed in the L1 and L2 vertebrae.
Goals & Support Needed
We're hoping that with successful fundraising, we can not only cover current treatments but also try another couple of rounds in G Sam Clinic for endovascular chemo. Your support is vital in helping us reach these goals and giving my mom the best possible chance in her continued treatment of cancer.
