Am Olga , a teacher by profession, I was always involved in animal rescue but, until now, only relied on my own financial capabilities until war broke down. When many people started fleeing the city, I made the courageous decision to stay in war-torn Kherson to help hundreds of abandoned pets. I will not flee because it will ensure starvation for over 350 animals. currently feeding.
Am helping these pets all on my own, I sold my valuable possessions and computer, but it is not nearly enough to sustain so many abandoned pets.
There are many abandoned and sick animals in my own house. I try to place pets in foster homes but I must provide food and basic medical help.
because most people have lost their incomes, and there are shortages of everything, especially dog foods.
On some days, I just give the dogs and cats bread, and sometimes, there are 2-3 days in a row when I cannot provide any food due to funds shortage.
