RIP Deanna Matthews - Passed Away May 1st 2023
Reverend Annie Chambers tragically lost her daughter last week on the evening of May 1st. Despite being immediately taken to the hospital her daughter quickly passed away from a heart attack. Her whole family, including Deanna's husband, Ricky Brown, and Deanna's children and grandchildren are devastated from the loss of such a kind and caring woman.
Deanna would frequently join her mother at protests and community organizing events. She was frequently seen at the weekly food giveaways at her mothers house. And she was a tireless volunteer spending a lot of time behind the scenes working on important political campaigns with her mom and with other good causes.

Annie finds herself with the heartbreaking task of laying her wonderful daughter to rest. Any amount you can give will go a long way towards her goal of $2,000. She's preparing a memorial service next week for her extended friends and family. We are trying to raise enough money to cover some basic end of life expenses and pay for the costs of the memorial service.
