Oh Happy Day!
As you know, how people heal or don’t heal from physical illness and emotional trauma can have a huge impact on their well-being and their active role as members in our communities. For more than 10 years, Brooklyn Heights Community Garden has provided a space for healing through gardening to community members across Nashville.
In the past year we have experienced growth at the garden through partnerships with organizations such as Rebuilding Together Nashville and Nashville Foodscapes. As a result, the garden has been revitalized to create a beautiful space for intergenerational learning, positive energy exchange, the creative arts and community building.
Now, we need your support to raise 2 million dollars to buy the church adjacent to the community garden/urban farm to transform it into the Healing Hut for food education, industrial kitchen for cooking classes and entrepreneurs, free clinics, energy healing and reflexology and other healing modalities, yoga, dancing, singing...this is IT y'all!
During this year-end season of giving, please consider becoming a sustaining monthly donor, make a one-time donation on #GivingTuesday or create an online fundraiser to help us raise funds through Facebook .
Help us bring love, peace, and unity to our community.
May the force be with you,
Ms. Pearl
