In a time of mass confusion, perpetual division and an unprecedented amount of conflicting information, disconnection seems inevitable. Often we are left feeling hopeless, useless and at worst apathetic faced with the reality, the mess before us, paired with the grim notion of being powerless to make any real change.
Whilst as individuals our power alone may not hope to make a dent in the beast of a system raining terror upon the Earth and her peoples. Our power as a collective is mighty and unfathomable. Our minds, hearts and spirits united in common cause, to do better and be better for each other must be achieved.
Refugee Biryani and Bananas is a charity I’ve grown close to and hope to do much more work with in the future. They’re a grass roots and hands on team of compassionate individuals striving to make a difference. Working with displaced people from around the world, escaping conflict, illegal wars and famine. Based in Greece but on the ground wherever needed: most recently in Cairo organising aid trucks to be transported over the Rafah crossing…. B&B Is a charity I actually trust and can receive real time information and updates from and I plan to spend some time volunteering for them early next year.
Times are tough for everyone in some way or another, if not financially then mentally and most definitely spiritually. I’m reaching out to anyone who’s got any money to spare, to help fundraise in these desperate times, for these peoples displaced and suffering. Anything and everything is greatly appreciated and humbly received.
