Driving Change Together At Volks Centre and Cairns Cars & Coffee, we believe the car community is about more than horsepower and shiny paint — it’s about the people behind the wheel.
On Sunday July 12th, we are teaming up to help tackle one of the biggest challenges facing our community today: Men’s Mental Health. Together, Volks Centre and Cairns Cars & Coffee will be donating 100% of all raffle proceeds directly to Grab Life By The Balls — to help support its Establishment here in Cairns FNQ, an incredible Australian charity founded by Sam Parker in 2016 to create more mateship, connection, and support for men across Australia. Every ticket sold helps support programs focused on reducing male suicide and improving mental health outcomes for men in our community.
Grab Life By The Balls is a registered Queensland charity founded on the belief that strong social connections and genuine mateship can help improve the lives of boys and men. Their mission is to proactively improve men’s health and well-being through relaxed social events, talks, programs, and grassroots community connections.
Sadly, nearly every one of us has been touched by suicide in some way. From fathers to brothers.
Mates to uncles. Cousins to grandfathers.
Too many good men have silently struggled alone.
This raffle is about more than cars.
It is about creating conversations.
It is about mates looking after mates.
And it is about helping build stronger support networks right here in Far North Queensland.
