Your donation helps us to provide a transportation system that's reliable, safe, accessible, and compassionate, no matter the need. And when you donate in the last week of the year, your donation can have double the impact!
Our generous board members have offered to match up to $3,000 for funds raised in the final week of the year.
You have a few options to choose from if you'd like to decide where your funds go:
Highest need will allow our managers to decide where the funds are needed most, whether that means helping to cover the costs of a private ride, going toward vehicle maintenance, or helping a client with something typically outside of our wheelhouse like providing a wheelchair or fixing their driveway so that we can safely pick them up.
Replacing vehicles will help us fund the retirement of our oldest vehicles so that we can continue to break down transportation barriers for our clients safely in well-running, well-maintained vehicles. Providing over 90.000 rides per year really takes a toll on our vehicles, but they spent their years well: giving children rides to school and afterschool programs, delivering food through a school program and during the pandemic, bringing friends and family together, helping your neighbor to get to the doctor, and more.
Private rides and other services could include helping someone who does not qualify for BAT with transportation, helping someone with transportation outside of Benton County, or help we offer to other nonprofit organizations with their clients.
This video was presented to our staff and volunteers at our holiday party this year, but it does a wonderful job of showing the lives you'll impact when you donate.
