The General Family Fund exists because the need in Gaza is constant, urgent, and unpredictable.

A family may need food today. Rent tomorrow. Medicine by the end of the week. A phone replaced so they can keep communicating, receiving support, and reaching the people who are trying to help them survive. A baby may need formula, diapers, or treatment. A family may need transportation, emergency shelter, or help covering the cost of current schooling and future evacuation savings, its up to them.

These are not occasional needs. They are the conditions of daily survival and future planning.

Give to Gaza was built around direct, person-to-person support. That means when a family reaches out, we are not sending money into a vague system and hoping it reaches them. We are responding to real people, in real time, with the specific support they are asking for: food, rent, medicine, baby supplies, phone access, transportation, and care.

But crisis-by-crisis fundraising is not enough anymore.

The need is too constant to become a separate appeal. Families should not have to wait until a post goes viral to eat. They should not have to wait for a campaign to gain traction before they can pay rent, buy medicine, or keep their phone on. Survival cannot depend on whether enough people happen to see one urgent story at the right moment. And life continues.

Monthly donations help us move away from isolated emergency appeals and toward something more durable: a steady circle of responsibility.

When you contribute monthly to the General Emergency Fund, you help create a pool of direct survival aid that can be used immediately, wherever the need is most urgent and where the families decide it goes. It allows us to respond faster, support multiple families at once, and fill the gaps between individual campaigns. It helps us say yes when someone reaches out with a need.

A monthly donation helps create continuity. It helps make sure there is food again next week. Rent again next month. Medicine when someone gets sick. Emergency support when conditions change overnight.

Your monthly contribution does not have to be large to matter. What matters is that it repeats. That it becomes part of a reliable network families can count on. That it helps turn scattered acts of care into something sustained enough to keep people alive.

Give monthly, and become part of the circle that helps families survive — not just once, but again and again.
