As a mother and former healthcare worker, I have been exposed to life and death emergencies, some with good outcomes and some without. In the U.S., someone dies of sudden cardiac arrest every 2 minutes, with most out-of-hospital emergencies happening in the home. 80% of bystanders are reluctant to perform CPR due to a lack of knowledge or a fear of causing harm. Statistics have also shown that low-income and minority communities are less likely to receive bystander CPR.
The funding from this fundraiser will provide CPRWrap Kits to families, churches, schools, daycares, new parents, and other non-profit organizations that cater to people in need.
