A team of teachers from Heritage Heights Elementary School have teamed up with educators in Ghana, Africa, with the support of a family deeply rooted in both our school and Ghanaian communities. Our goal is to nurture lasting global connections between students and educators, fostering a deeper understanding of our diverse world through education.
In June, us teachers will travel to Ghana! In the meantime, and while we are there, we will collaborate with Ghanaian teachers, and share cultural experiences to cultivate an appreciation for diversity. We will be teaching students and mentoring teachers at the Merton International School and a local government school in Accra, Ghana. We will also extend support by donating essential supplies and toiletries.
Your donation will go directly to supporting our travel, as well as providing materials, school supplies, and essential items to both teachers and students in Ghana. We hope you can partner with us!
