Geo Fundraiser: Building the Ngäbe Buglé Community Dining Hall and Learning Space (Phase 1)
We are excited to announce the beginning of a deeply meaningful project in the Kodri Region, Llano Ñopo Community, in the heart of the Ngäbe Buglé Comarca, Panama.
Together with the local community, GeoParadise is helping to build a Community Dining Hall and Learning Space, a place where everyone is welcome, where people can come together to share food, knowledge, and connection.
🍲 A Space for Nourishment and Care
The new communal hall will serve as a hub for the entire community, a space where people can gather to eat, cook, and share meals, while also serving over 500 children who will benefit from daily nourishment. It will include a collection center to support children and people with disabilities, ensuring that everyone has a place to feel safe and cared for.
🏠 A Shelter for Travelers and Volunteers
Many families and individuals from nearby villages must walk one to three days through rough terrain to reach medical care or basic services. The second floor of the building will provide simple sleeping quarters with hammocks and mattresses, a safe and welcoming place for travelers, volunteers, and visiting educators to rest.
📚 A Place for Learning and Empowerment
The project will also include a training and education room, coordinated with local government programs, NGOs, and educators. It will host workshops on literacy, regenerative practices, nutrition, permaculture, and self-sustainability, empowering the community to create long-term change from within.
🛠 Phase 1: Laying the Foundation
Construction has already started with local hands and hearts working together. Our current goal is to raise $3,000 USD to purchase the materials needed to complete the basic structure of the building. Every contribution helps, the people are already there, shovels in hand, ready to continue.
