Gabby was raised in Wallingford. She graduated from Prendie in 2008, and then completed her Bachelors’ Degree Magna cum Laude at the University of Pittsburgh in 2012. She immediately started law school at the Dickinson School of Law in Carlisle, Pennsylvania.

While in law school, Gabby demonstrated a parti cular commitment to empowering women in the legal system and pursued every opportunity she could to giving underserved women a voice in court. Gabby held several competitive internships and externships dedicated to the public interest, including at Women in Need (Chambersburg, PA,) YWCA Legal Clinic (Harrisburg, PA,) and the Community Law Clinic (Carlisle, PA). For her exceptional service to the public interest while in law school, Gabby received special recognition during her third year.

After completing her post-graduate fellowship, Gabby entered private practice.
However, she never lost sight of her dream to practice in the public interest. In 2020, Gabby began working as a staff attorney at a local nonprofit providing services to victims of sexual assault and other crimes. In her position, Gabby handles a large caseload, including Protections from Abuse, custody, divorce, and support.

Gabby is also a trained victim advocate, approaching each case and client from a trauma-informed perspective. In addition to her client work, Gabby is also appointed by the Court to serve as a guardian for children and incapacitated adults.

Gabby is very involved in the Delaware County Bar Association (DCBA), where she serves as a member of the Board of Directors and on the executive committee of the Family Law Section.

Outside of work, Gabby enjoys performing with local community theater groups, reading, cooking, and traveling (she's been to 5 continents!) She is also a certified fitness instructor and teaches at the local YMCA.

Gabby is married to her husband of nearly four years, Daniel Coleman, who is also an attorney in Delaware County (they met at the Bench-Bar Conference!) Together, they have two sons, Malcolm (3), and Calvin (1), and a tiny, loud dog named Reba.
