For decades, our community has lacked a dedicated space for education, engagement, and connection. This restoration project will fill that void, transforming Perry’s School into a thriving multi-use community center where residents can gather, learn, and grow. But we cannot do it alone. We are launching an ambitious $176,000 capital campaign from June 1, 2025 - May 31, 2026, to restore the Rosenwald building, preserve its legacy, and unlock its full potential as a space for learning, cultural enrichment, and community support. Phase 1 funding will support plumbing repairs, HVAC replacement, sheetrock and ceiling restoration, architectural preservation planning, and a part-time project manager to guide development and outreach.
