Thank you so much for taking the time to visit our page! This campaign is centered around our goal to raise money for our team, so that we can continue our service to our community. Starting an organization of any kind takes a ton of hard work and we are incredibly grateful for the coach and our supporters.
Momentum Throws, a USATF youth Track and Field club focused on the education and coaching of the throwing disciplines, was started with one goal in mind, GIVE! With so few options to get consistent training in these events, we sought to fill that need for young athletes that loved to throw! There are so many different options for football, basketball, volleyball and baseball so we are just one of a few Throws clubs in the DFW metroplex!
We strive to show what throwing is all about, share our passion and open the door for opportunities to the next level! We've qualified over 14 kids and families to the Junior Olympics in our first 15 months! Our team members had been awarded over $250,000 in athletic scholarships from Universities in the past 15 months! We are planning to take our team on a college trip this fall to promote our athletes and broaden their horizons! We are hoping to continue our hard work and give kids a CHANCE to do something positive not only for themselves, but for their families too! We teach the sports but our focus has been and will always be our youth! We're proud to coach our community and contribute to the world of Track and Field!
We understand what the state of our country is in and are sensitive to this and are appreciative of your consideration. That being said, ANYTHING HELPS! However, equipment is costly and can add up and with a growing team, more equipment is needed. This is why we need YOUR HELP!
