On December 9th, 2023, a devastating tornado ripped through Clarksville, TN, and with it, took away the beloved home of the Clarksville School of Fine Arts (CSOFA). Our classrooms, buzzing with the melodies of young musicians, the laughter of budding actors, and the vibrant strokes of aspiring artists, were reduced to rubble. But the spirit of CSOFA, built on creativity, resilience, and the belief in the power of the arts, refuses to be silenced.
We are determined to rise from the ashes which is why we have restarted our 6 academies – Music, Acting, Film, Dance, Visual Arts, and Life Skills – in a temporary location. But it's not the same. Though extremely thankful for the Way Church for opening their building to us, we have so many things we are needing and wanting to do.
That's where you come in. We want you to join us in launching a crowdfunding campaign to raise $500,000 to purchase a new, permanent home for CSOFA. This won't just be a building; it will be a beacon of hope and creativity for our community, a space where:
- Young musicians can fill the air with melodies born from their hearts.
- Aspiring actors can step onto a stage and explore the depths of their emotions.
- Budding filmmakers can learn the tools to tell their stories.
- Dancers can pirouette freely, expressing themselves through movement.
