Help The Jones Family Forge the Future!

Hi everyone, it’s the Jones Family here. We’re reaching out to you because The Forge Initiative (TFI) (a.k.a. “The Forge”), a non-profit open innovation tech space, needs your help. For over a decade, TFI has been a cornerstone in our lives, fostering a love for technology and innovation within our family and the broader community.

The Forge is more than just a place; it’s a vibrant community where people of all ages come together to learn, create, and innovate. Our children, Ariana and James, have blossomed through their involvement with The Forge. They’ve not only participated in competitive robotics and STEAM programs but have also grown as mentors, leaders, and creators. Through our involvement with The Forge, they have developed invaluable leadership, engineering, and communication skills, and are exploring ways they can have a positive impact in the world.

The Forge has been a beacon of positive change for more than just our family, reaching thousands across North Carolina and beyond. It has brought STEAM education to underserved areas, schools, libraries, and community events, nurturing the next generation of innovators and leaders. Unfortunately, just as The Forge was gaining momentum to establish many of the programs and collaborations we envisioned for the organization, our previous lease space became unavailable, followed by the COVID pandemic. We found a temporary space to keep the lights on, but this space falls short of what The Forge needs to reach our vision for the organization. Our current lease is ending soon, and we are working hard to find a space that helps us get back on track.

We are determined to help The Forge secure a new home so it can continue to inspire others. The Jones Family has set up this fundraiser in hopes that we can help The Forge pursue its vision for the future.
